Dear Grey,

Life has transformed for both of us now. Although I may not always be physically present as I had hoped, I want you to hold on to hope. My love will always be with you, residing in your heart and spirit. Even when the odds seem against us, we shall conquer with the resources available to us. Whenever you gaze at the stars, know that I will be watching over you, guiding you on your journey through life. I know that one day you will receive this message. I still vividly remember your younger days, when your natural curiosity shone brightly. You constantly sought to unravel the mysteries surrounding you. Please, Grey, do not let go of that curiosity, not even in your teenage years or as you grow older. Refrain from blindly following the crowds; instead, strive to perceive things differently but without offending others, because we all want to be heard and validated. Remember, human beings often lose their sanity when influenced by groups, but they find their true selves when alone, gradually, as individuals. You were never afraid to voice your thoughts, even as a child, and I commend you for expressing them respectfully. Your vibrant spirit has always been awe-inspiring. Hence, I hope you can make choices that are true to yourself, without the need to impress others or seek the limelight. Trust your inner voice, your intuition, and let your heart guide you. Hold onto your blissful innocence, and never let go of your sense of wonder. Stay authentic to yourself and freely express your deepest emotions without reservation. However, I implore you, my dear, to avoid the path of addiction, be it alcohol or drugs. Addiction is a black hole from which escaping would require a miracle. Please, do not attempt to be clever about it or tempt fate. This is one of those rare moments when I humbly request you to exercise humility and step away. I know it won’t be easy, but I beg you to promise me that you will strive to avoid such a situation. May you explore faith while maintaining a balanced judgment and rationality. May you perceive your life as an expression of happiness, rather than a relentless pursuit of happiness. This is how people get addicted, constantly looking for pleasure to make them feel happy, but this lasts for only a moment and they have to do it again and again. Stay foolishly curious and forever young at heart. Remember, mental illness is real. If you ever find yourself in need of support, do not hesitate to seek help. I urge you to cultivate empathy for others, for everyone silently battles their own nightmares, which often go unnoticed. Above all, my little one, I want you to recognize your immense power, a power that may not always be obvious. At some point in your life, when you are ready, you must uncover this power within you to unleash it. Connect with that inner strength, for it holds the key to unlocking your true potential. Always remain grateful for even the smallest of your accomplishments. Be at peace with who you are, connect with the nature surrounding you, and treat everyone with respect.
